Atlanta Fringe Festival

There are presently no open calls for submissions.

We are accepting submissions for our web radio archive that will be available through the Atlanta Fringe website during the week of the Atlanta Fringe Festival, May 7-13, 2012. Radio plays, storytelling, and sound art are all acceptable. Submissions must be 15-60 minutes long. The Atlanta Fringe is unjuried, so there is no selection process; once you have submitted, you will be a part of the Atlanta Fringe Festival in May, 2012, and uploaded to our web archive. We are only holding 25 spots for each aural category, and we'll select them on a first-come, first-serve basis.

This submissions manager will give you the option to upload a cover letter. In your cover letter, please be sure to include the following information:

-Your name
-Your email address
-Your production company
-Name of production
-Genre
-Short synopsis

The audio submissions we receive will be put into a web archive available on the Atlanta Fringe website, www.atlantafringe.org. The archive will be password-protected and audience members will purchase the password by paying $2. The Fringe will track how many clicks each production receives, and disperse percentages of radio fees to the productions. A Captcha will be installed to prevent bot-clicking.

The Atlanta Fringe will use clips from each submission to help promote through the free, streaming radio station also set up on the Atlanta Fringe website. Each submitter will have the opportunity to engage in interviews with the Fringe radio staff to further promote your production. The Atlanta Fringe will also include a radio schedule and information in our Official Guide.

By submitting, you are agreeing that the Atlanta Fringe Festival may archive your work, and use your material for promotional purposes both during and after the festival, to promote your work while the archive is live, but also for purposes such as creating a "Fringe Picks" playlist. We will never use your work without crediting you, and we will not be accepting money for your material after the festival ends, May 13th, 2012.

We are the first Fringe attempting this; thanks for being a part of it!
